Gulf Software Testing Board

 

Gulf Software Testing Board has been established in 2007 as a member of International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) – www.istqb.org - which is the leading global organisation in Software Testing.
The board’s mission is to train and certify Information Technology professionals in the region in accordance with ISTQB global standarts..
The board’s main activities are:

• Certification of IT professionals that will succeed in the exams organized by Gulf Software Testing Board
• Accreditation of trainer companies that will provide ISTQB Certified Tester Trainings
• Contribution to ISTQB international syllabi
• Localization of global ISTQB SW testing terminology in English and Arabic

Until now more than 60,000 IT professionals in more than 36 countries have been certified with ISTQB Certified Tester Programs.
Gulf Software Testing Board members are practitioners, academics, consultants and trainers that have active roles in SW testing and quality assurance related positions in the region.
